Nestled in the heart of Alabama’s breathtaking wilderness, Rack & Range Hunting Lodge and Wilderness Camp is more than just a destination—it’s a legacy built on family, tradition, and the great outdoors. Founded by siblings Natalie Jackson and Chris "Captain" Jackson, Rack & Range was born out of their shared dream to create a haven where people of all backgrounds can connect with nature, hone their outdoor skills, and make lifelong memories.
For Chris, an Army veteran and award-winning hunter, the outdoors has always been a way of life. Raised in Alabama, Chris grew up hunting alongside his beloved grandfather, Levi Coleman, learning the values of respect for nature, ethical practices, and family bonds. Today, he continues to honor those lessons, guiding others to appreciate the same.
For Natalie, Rack & Range represents a bold step into an industry she once knew little about, but one she was determined to embrace. As a civil rights lawyer with a passion for empowering communities, she saw an opportunity to create an inclusive and welcoming space in a field traditionally dominated by men. Her vision is to make Rack & Range a place where everyone—from seasoned hunters to first-timers to non-hunters (like Natalie)—feels at home.
Together, Natalie and Chris have built Rack & Range as a tribute to their family roots, a celebration of Alabama’s natural beauty, and a commitment to fostering a thriving outdoor community. Whether you’re here for hunting, wilderness training, or simply to enjoy the serenity of the great outdoors, we invite you to join us at Rack & Range and experience the adventure of a lifetime.
